Bodies of work

Pucker Up

Toni is a heart on her sleeve type of artist who loves to delve into emotions and slap them on your wall. This collection of work illustrates Toni’s new direction in style and colour play. This series explores the different stages of relationships, from the ‘smiling every time you think of them’ stage to the ‘memory of the space they once filled in your life’ stage. The works, united by their beautiful, strong colour palette, have a positive, free and joyful vibe. They are currently on exhibition at Dorrigo and Beyond Gallery in Dorrigo, NSW. Colourful Connections has been sold.

Watershed

Though exploring personal watershed moments, Toni built this richly coloured body of work. It represents the positives in hard times and how humans survive. From peaceful clearing your mind drives in the countryside to searching for the light in the cracks. They all have mesmerising layers that drip with brilliant colour, making any room come alive. Currently on exhibition at Dorrigo Rainforest Centre, Dorrigo.

Leave of Absence

This series explores grief through paint. An experience with her dying mother sent Toni bush, in search of the red leaves that her mother symbolically connected to in her last stages of life. The rich colours somehow all have gentle tones that beg for calm in ones space. All of these works have been sold.
